Of the Napa Family

It's been ages since the last blog post!

I'll get to the photos, but first the wordy bit:

Between my small media hiatus, and then wishing August would just rush (ahem, haha) it's not that I didn't have time. Maybe this month was slow for you? Or maybe you were swamped up to your eyeballs ;]

Either way you take it in stride and say YAY to the home stretch of the last few days.

But I can say when life forces you to slow your roll you may find out somethings about yourself you didn't realize: you might like cooking, you may have realized your room was a train wreck (from the business of life of course...not because you change your outfits and don't put them back...) or you may have realized you just haven't been home in awhile: present. Yes, August has been a perspective shifter.

In the process of learning all this a few days ago an earthquake hit a city very close to us. It's remarkable how much a LITERAL shaking can shake up. Profound right? ;]
