Of hiking for the first time

Got to see a friend of mine I hadn't seen in a couple of years 2 days ago. She mentioned that there was this Redwoods area near her house. Oh, and that we could hike. The high school me would have been like "hiking?! no thank you." And after trekking up 750 something feet, I have to say ladies and gents, it was supremely worth it.

Good company, the great outdoors, and we did not get lost. God blessed me with Kimberly's amazing sense of direction. She'd make an awesome tour guide.
